I would like to briefly introduce the Natural Bounce Solutions modular butterfly frame material system, which we developed based on many years of on-set experience, as a DP-gaffer trio, we have first hand experience of what we thought would be beneficial for our day-to-day workflow.
The uniqueness of our system is that it offers several types of bases and a variety of reflective surfaces that can be freely combined. Multiple surfaces can be quickly swapped out on a selected base using Velcro in seconds, allowing for extremely swift adaptation during fast-changing production environments.
We actively sought natural colours for the palette in order to create high-quality light reflections to mimic what often occurs naturally in real environments, however was difficult to achieve with previous tools in the past. This is a simple, adaptable, straightforward solution – even sustainable.
