All of us who dreamed up and have been running this school for eight years have spent—and continue to spend—a significant part of our lives in the world of film.
We work across many areas of filmmaking and the film industry; we are different, yet there is something that unites us: our unwavering love and passion for film. Passing on this spirit to the next generation is not only important to us, but truly an uplifting experience.
When we started, our vision was that graduates of Lumiere would become the most successful professionals in both the domestic and international film industries.
After eight years, our ambitions have grown even bolder: we want the collaborative short films of our creative students—writers, directors, cinematographers, actors, and editors—to be featured at international festivals.
