Green Film Shooting is a certified Hamburg EcoProfit company that informs creatives in Germany and abroad about eco-friendly solutions, projects, and initiatives for the film and media industry since 2013. The German-English language magazine and online platform Green Film Shooting feature technologies such as LED lights and retrofit kits; electric, CNG, and fuel-cell vehicles as well as battery-powered solutions that can help reduce carbon emissions.
In addition to its print magazine and the website, Green Film Shooting regularly hosts events in Germany and abroad. These include panel discussions, workshops, conferences, lectures at universities and film schools, as well as a TEDx Talk.
For its pioneering work in introducing eco-friendly working practices to the film and media industry, Green Film Shooting was awarded as ‘Project Sustainability 2019’ by the Council of Sustainability (RNE) and the Regional Network of Sustainability Strategies (RENN), and also received the Transformation Prize in the top category.
