ASTRA FILMLAND is one of Central Europe’s most versatile film studios, located 25 minutes from downtown Budapest, Hungary.
It offers 17,951 sqm/193,200 sq ft of purpose-built studio space across 12 sound stages, including a Virtual Production Stage with in-house LED volume, an Aviation Stage with ready-to-shoot aircraft sets, and Hungary’s largest Indoor Water Stage.
A 72,000+ sqm/775,000+ sq ft backlot provides diverse exterior shooting areas within a single controllable location. Production support includes 4,660 sqm/50,160 sq ft of offices and 10,696 sqm/115,130 sq ft of workshops.
Astra also offers extensive on-lot production services. The Astra Digital Hub integrates virtual production, VFX, camera robotics, scanning technologies and data workflows, supported by on-lot providers offering camera, lighting, grip and equipment rentals.
Recent productions include Jack Ryan, FBI: International, The Day of the Jackal, Eric, Shadow and Bone, and Nuremberg.
Astra Filmland holds a BAFTA albert “Very Good” sustainability rating since 2023.
